Play Safe
- No shoulder charging
- No slide tackling
- Game of skill, containment
- Play under control
- No foul language, taunting opponents
- Respect Referee, Decisions are Final
Equipment, team, & time
- 5 v. 5 (Goalies Included)
- Dimensions = standard basketball court
- Penalty area = 3-point arc
- Teams need two alternating colors for uniforms (pinnies accepted)
- 30-minute games (15-minute halves)
- running clock except on injuries
- no timeouts
- 1-minute halftime (switch benches)
- 4 minutes between games
- Goal Size: 6.5 X 10
- Shinguards, Socks, Flat indoor Shoes Required
- No Jewelry
Futsal & House Rules
- No throw ins
- Kick ins must happen within 4 seconds, opponents 5 meters away
- Home Team (listed first on schedule) kick off to start game, visitors kick off second half
- No offsides
- Goal keepers cannot throw over height of the goal (Consequence: indirect kick)
- Goal keeper may throw or kick goal kick from penalty area (4-second rule applies)
- Substitution "on the fly" (substituted player must be off the field by team bench)
- Red Card = Player must leave court & bench, penalized team plays down player for 2 minutes
